I'm not sure if this may have been a pick on an older month as it has been in print for two years. I 5 starred it this week and loved the really creative lines in it as well as the story.

I've had two or three friends recommend it. Maybe I'll join you if you do it. (I have to start reading more)

It's an excellent read. I loved it. I also loved one of his others, Britt-Marie Was Here!

I'm happy to use this as septembers book, unless anyone wants to throw in other ideas.

Sounds good! And it's a good thing September is a month away because I'm number 27 in line for the book at my library. :)

My library has several copies ... the "regular" one has about 100 holds on 26 copies, the Large print has about 20 Holds on 8 copies, and two different digital copies have about 20 holds each.

Maybe we can tentatively assign this one for a few months from now, to let people get themselves on the wait lists now.

If you have a Costco membership, I saw the paperback version of this there last week. I read this book earlier this year. It was probably one my favorite books I've read in 2016.

If you can, snag the audio version from the library or get it from Audible. It's a great listen as well.

I was well down the list on this one as a hold, then went in the library to return books and saw it available as a 7day check out! I guess they keep a copy or two for those people who don't know computers or holds etc. My finding it sooner was just a fluke but then I'm in the library a lot! (it's a very short walk in the non-summer months)
