Hi everyone and welcome to my Christmas in July Create-a-Card Challenge!

As you are all no doubt aware, this year is going by SO fast and before we know it December will be upon us!!! So I propose that we take some of the silly-season stress away by getting in a bit early and get a start on creating our 2016 Christmas Cards! My Mum always says that Prior Preparation Prevents Panic!

    Challenge requirements:
    · For this challenge I want you to create the front page of a Christmas card in a 5 x 7 format (psssst - there are templates in the store).
    · The card needs to includes the year (2016) AND the word JOY on it!
    · I want to see a photo-free card (because getting my teenagers to have their photos taken for the family card is now a thing of the past and I need some good ideas from you all!)
    · Use at least 75% TLP Christmas goodies (just make sure it belongs to a current designer).
    · Post your finished card in this thread so we can all admire your work. Be sure to link back to the gallery! (In the gallery, on the right of your image, you will find Share this Layout. Choose Share BB Code, and copy. Then paste into this thread.)

**If the spirit moves you, please feel free to post more than one card for additional chances to win - just make sure they are on different posts ;)!
Here is an example I created using One Little Bird's There's something about Merry and some of Valorie Wibbens Pocket Stuffers (No 2+4):

The Lilypad’s Christmas in July sale is a perfect time to stock up with a fabulous 35% off selected products! This sale includes Christmas, Winter and Document your December items!

This contest will close on Sunday, July 31st at 11:59PM EST. From the layouts submitted in this thread, one recipient will win a $5 Lilypad gift card!

**** Woohoo the winner has been drawn ****
CONGRATULATIONS Tam65 - I will PM you you coupon this evening!
Thanks so much everyone for playing along with my challenge! I hope you had fun!

Question: Are we talking hybrid cards? Or can I make it all digital?

OK, So I loved this challenge, because there are no good cards for interfaith families. For a few years, I tried to do both, but it was insane. So now, we do mostly Chanukah at home, but then go visit Grandma and Grandpa (my parents) for a week where they have Christmas.

I know another interfaith family that literally divided their house in half, and Jewish mom decorated one half for Chanukah, and Italian Catholic dad decorated the other half for Christmas. That was my inspiration for this card.

I enjoyed this, thanks, much less messy than when I usually make my cards with paper stuff.
