Please read through the below guidelines before starting your pages for the challenges!
  1. Each day, a new challenge will be posted in the January Month of Challenges forum. Some challenges may be posted later than others depending on the location of the host and their real life commitments. Please be patient - the challenges will be posted daily.
  2. Your pages must be newly created specifically for MOC , and must contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store by either permanent designers or guest designers). You must have a different page for each challenge; you cannot use the same page for more than one challenge.
  3. Your pages must conform to the guidelines of each challenge in order to qualify as completed. Please read the challenges carefully and make sure your page follows the guidelines of the challenge. We want you to enjoy the process and love your pages, but these are supposed to be challenges that take you outside of your comfort zone. It is important that your page comply with the spirit of the challenge. If you have any questions, post in that thread or PM me or the host.
  4. After you complete your first layout, please create a new thread HERE and post your first layout. The title of your thread should be “your username’s layouts” (for example – mrs2a50’s Layouts). Please use your username and not your given name.
  5. The first post in your thread should be your first layout. Each additional layout should be a new post in your thread. If you complete all 31 layouts, you should have 31 posts in your thread. Please do NOT create 31 posts ahead of time and edit them as you add the layouts. Post as you finish each new layout. You do not have to post your pages in MOC order; if you do not complete each page on it's day, you can post your pages in whatever order you complete them.
  6. If we have questions or comments about your page, we will contact you via the conversation system. Please make sure your notifications have been turned on. These settings can be found and edited in your account under Settings, Contact Details, then Messaging Preferences.
  7. You will have until 11:59 pm eastern time, Tuesday, February 2, to complete all your layouts. If you complete all 31 layouts within the time frame, you will be considered for a full-time spot as a Pollywog on the Lilypad CT. To make the decision on who will be a Polly, we will look at scrap style, forum and gallery participation and enthusiasm for the TLP community.
  8. Additional prizes: Everyone who completes all 31 challenges will receive a $20 gift certificate to the TLP store. In addition, each challenge host will choose one “favorite” page from her daily challenge to receive a $3 gift certificate to the store. Layouts will be chosen for this $3 GC from those posted in the individual challenge threads.
  9. If you have any questions you can post them in the Q&A thread HERE, or in the individual challenge thread, or you can PM me or the challenge host.

I got excited too, started my thread already - somebody slap my fingers (lightly!) and keep me in line!!
 
OMG its my first year doing this and you all have me so excited about it! I cannot wait to see what the challenges consist of. Hoping they are not too hard!! Im going to do my best to complete all 31!! I printed out the instructions so I can post them on my wall right in front of me. LOL Im a good girl!!! I have seen all those rule breakers already out there. [>]
Ha ha ha!! Got to love the enthusiasm though right!!

I did mine wrong too. But I was able to correct the name part. Top right corner of the post there's a small thing called "thread tools" ( I imagine it's only available on threads you create) and you can edit title.
 
Oops, sorry! I made my post for my layouts, but i do understand the importance of that thread needing to be approximately 31 posts, so ill edit the first post, adding my layout to it. I tried to delete the thread but couldn't find how

I'm going on a cruise for a large part of January, but I'm going to do my best to complete as many challenges as possible! Fingers crossed that I'll do them all!
 
So excited to play this year! I've completed all the past MOC challenges & always love what you guys cook up! I'll make my thread after my first page is done :D
 
I've just joined the site today and it is Jan 6th. Is it too late to join this? Looks like fun!!!!

Welcome! Not too late! Just jump in :)
If you can still complete all 31, it doesn't matter when you start, and even if you can't finish, you will still be entered to win each individual challenge you do. Plus it's just fun and inspiring! :)
 
Welcome @NancyP ! We'd love to have you join us! Take the challenges at your own pace - you could certainly finish them all by the February 2 deadline, but even if you don't, you can still play along!
