Let's talk templates!

I just delete most of the elements before I can start on them because otherwise they are just too overwhelming. Lol.
I am a true template girl though! I'm very happy there are new template designers joining TLP.

This is me. I love having someone better than me come up with an awesome composition... then I fill in as the mood strikes me. Win, Win.

I love templates, too. I do like the clustery ones especially if I'm working on a CT layout and I want to include as many of the elements as possible (plus I LOVE elements--ah-h-h-h... bows, flowers, buttons...I love them all). I'm not that confident in my clustering abilities.

I love double pagers, those are my weakness. I'm also a big lover of journaling temps indeed!
My favourite designers are Scrapping with Liz and Dagi's Temp-tations. I like traditional templates but with not too much going on clustering wise. Which for example FDD templates are. They are amazing and I do use them, I just delete most of the elements before I can start on them because otherwise they are just too overwhelming. Lol.

Cheryl's templates taught me how to cluster!! The best part, she shadows her elements appropriately so you can copy/paste the styles. I get a huge chuckle when I get a layout comment complementing me on my shadowing. I feel like a fraud!! It's like getting a complement on my mashed potatoes when I used instant ... it's momma's little secret.

Love that about templates. Many times the template looks nothing like what we started with but that's totally okay. I love Liz and Dagi too.

I love all templates. I'm so easy. Gonna have to add those photo-less templates to my stash soon, though. I like 'em! I have like almost ALL of Cheryl and Liz's templates and rarely make a layout without them. Can't wait to see what's new!

Sigghhh.....I need something to remind me I even HAVE templates, because I have a decent collection, and they make it so much easier, but when I started scrapping I never used them, so I just don't even think about them, unless I'm working on the template challenge....

I'm the complete opposite, I pretty much never do a page without a template lol

I was on the site early and the 25% off was showing up but now it's not? Did the sale already end?
