One Little Word?

I need help with mine. I need a better word for "purge" That sounds too bulimic...but a more positive way to say "get rid of"...as in get rid of my fat a**...get rid of the crap around the house....get rid of things in general that weigh me down, physically and emotionally.
someone mentioned the word "release" maybe that is an option?

I had focus last year and still dubbing about this years one little word...but I think it's gonna be JOY (enjoy ythe little thing, have fun and do what you love to do)

Mine is KISS -- As in give lots of kisses to my loved ones and as Keep It Simple, Silly!

i haven't had a chance to figure mine out yet. been dealing with major computer issues the last two weeks (horrible timing during the holidays ... what a stressful way to end 2014!) but i absolutely love the idea that a few of you mentioned to have a main word for 2015 ... and then the monthly words or monthly sub-focus on the main word.

How about LESS?

Mine may seem silly but here it is "Nice". With 3 teenagers in the house, I have noticed that my hubby and I spend A LOT of time saying "can't you all just be NICE?" So that's the theme in our household for this year - just be nice :) .

my word for 2015 is change.
i will start with a deep house cleaning. my oven saw the same thing, because that day he has given up his spirit. but I wanted a new kitchen. Perhaps now is the right time for it.

I don't like my word, DISCIPLINE, because it will mean a lot of work. But it is what I really need right now. DO would work too--I'll have to think about that.

funny thing, mine is DE_CLUTTER which I'm not sure if it qualifies as one word but I had this in mind for the 2 past months, even before we travelled- Not only I need to stop the hoarding as we have a shed so full that we can't take the suitcases there, but we have also lots of "getting rid of" in all levels too.
I started already during the trip with the emotional, which ties a bit with Kim (scrapandsass)'s thing as I have been writing & drawing a lot, but since I was in my teens, to me, if my environment physically is clear, no clutter...then emotionally things start falling into place easier.....

My word for this year is AGAIN. I have some issue at the end of 2014....and i just want to forgive and start again this year

I am totally going with Persistence this year. Gotta keep on keeping on. I give up too darn quick.

I think I'm going to go with Less. Less weight, less yelling, less stuff, less spending...and so on.

I have never done it but have seen so many digi friends do it that I am tending towards picking one this year. The word 'i think' I am going for is Fit...lets see if I finally pick that or go some other way! :)

I have had words for a couple of years, but never really did much with them. In light of that (and many other things) I think my word should be COMPLETION.

However, I don't love that. Any ideas of a better word for "finish what you start and stop leaving 1/2 finished projects and goals scattered around your life"?

Oh, how about FULFILL

"verb (used with object)
1. to carry out, or bring to realization.
2. to perform or do.
3. to satisfy
4. to bring to an end; finish or complete
5. to develop the full potential of

I like it. I need to find fulfillment in spite of certain circumstances. I need to allow God to fulfill me. I need to fulfill my obligations, my daily activities, and my creative projects.

You are seeing the brainstorming in action, hehe... (scary, right?)

I jokingly told a friend on facebook, I am going to use the word KNEECAP. But the more I think about it, the more I like it!
Kneecap, kNeeCap...it is a great word for 2015

I was thinking RELEASE also. I like LESS as well, which Peppermint said. Or what about REFINE - I like its definitions: to bring to a fine or a pure state; free from impurities / to bring to a finer state or form by purifying/ to make more fine, subtle, or precise

One year I picked a word, but never did anything with it. Still, that word stuck with me, and made an impact on my choices that year. So, this year I suppose I would like to pick another word, even if I don't actually scrap it or document it. I just am not sure what I want it to be.
I'm kicking a few around in my head.

My word last year (T.A.R.D.I.S.) started out as a joke. Still worked. ;)
