now I am shutting down pinterest and folding clothes...really I am !:thumbsups

Ha ha ha. My hubby and I went to an estate sale this weekend and saw a small typewriter in a case for sale. He said, huh, the world's first laptop.

My mom's big pink Royal came in a came with a handle on it. Wouldn't be so comfy in the lap, but I bet I could make it happen for a good photo. LOL

I' m showing my age when I saw I used to type on one of those LOL

That's what I got as a HS graduation present! I was so proud of my typewriter in college. My parents said they thought about getting a "word processor" but thought that would just be a fad :rofl

I have 7 years of typing under my belt...bhahah..oh my goodness, I remember when the electric typewriters came in in my sophomore year..it was like heaven.

the park? no.
the subway? yes.
but only because i was brining it home from brooklyn.
complete with typewriter table.
i made wes take a photo of me being a hipster on the l train
(which is a train that goes through the most hipster part of brooklyn)
ohh... good times.

Now that's a real hipster!

OMG, Lynnette. That is the funniest thing I've seen all day! At the DMV? Well, I guess the lines are long enough... LOL.

wow, i have been known to travel with knitting, but taking a spinning wheel? that is hard core.

lol! That's what I thought about twitter! I was all why wouldn't you just write a blog post, then you can write as much as you want

OMG! Lol. I used a typewriter back in the day too, like in 2000!

Oh man! If only I had a vintage typewriter... and the freedom to have lunch in the park during the week. Then I'd totally do it. Yep. That's my story & I'm sticking to it.

Hee hee.

I guess I was a hipster way back when. My grandma had a big ol' typewriter I used to lug around everywhere with me when I was 8-10. I think it was bigger than I was at the time. :D

I have my Mom's typewriter in the case.. I will have to dig it out of the closet, take it to the park & have hubby photograph me with it :)
