The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete all 7 challenges by midnight eastern time on June 30, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win one of TWO guest spots on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first six challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the seventh challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Please remember that layouts must contain 75% TLP product (eligible product can be current or retired product from resident designers, or guest designer product that is currently in the TLP store. BYOC challenge layouts must have 90% current BYOC product from this month's BYOC. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). All challenge layouts should be posted in the TLP gallery listing the product used for your pages. Your challenge pages each month will be tracked in the Challenge Layouts thread. There should only be one post per participant in this thread. After you post your first challenge, please edit that post to add each additional challenge page you complete. At the end of the month, this thread will be closed and you will be contacted with a coupon code for your discount. Only one post per person will be tallied, so please do not post multiple times in this thread. In order to make tallying easier, we also ask that this thread be used only for posting challenge pages; please do not comment on the pages in the layout thread, but feel free to go to the gallery to leave some love! I've got a quick question and am not sure if this is the right place to post it so, my apologies if it isn't. With the challenges . . . are we allowed to create art journaling pages to meet the requirements? Or are we limited to just layouts?
I will answer this with a resounding Go go do art journaling! make me happy and smile and if it fits the bill for the challenge it is perfectly marvelous. and if you are a lover of all things art journaling I invite you to a separate art journaling challenge here at the LILY PAD It goes all month, one step at a time...making one page with 4 canvas' - intrigued? I hope so!
I am new to this so please forgive me for asking this question. How do you hyperlink your image in the challenge thread to your gallery page? I can't figure it out.
Thank you for replying. There are a couple links listed. Can someone walk me through how to do it. I tried a couple of ways, and still can't figure it out. Sorry, sometimes I am computer illiterate.
Don't be sorry! While looking at your image in the gallery, under your credits there are three options with links: Linked Thumbnail, Linked Image and Direct Link. Click in the "Linked Image" box and the entire url will become highlighted. Right Clik and then click "Copy". Then go to the challenge thread and right click in the reply box and click "Paste". The entire Image url should become posted in your reply. Then when you submit the image will show and be linked already! You could do the same thing with the "Linked Thumbnail" option as well. It will just show a small image instead of the full one. I hope that helped! Let me know if you have any questions or ignore me if you already figured it out!
