Liahara, I got kinder eggs the last time I was in Brazil, so now I do know what we're missing. Someone told me they can't be sold here because of an FDA law. :(

Where I shopped: Hy-vee (the most wonderful grocery store ever)

When I was a kid my older sister (like 12 years older) went to Europe with the high school band, and she brought back some kinder eggs for me. I thought they were the coolest things EVER!

It wasn't always, I don't believe...at least I know I saw them at a few import shops after DH and I got married (the owner of one of our favorite shops was so upset when she was told she couldn't buy them anymore)...of course I discovered them in Canada...i was stage managing a touring theatre production and a few of our shows were in Canada...the cast absolutely had a blast buying the eggs...I don't know how many little toys we had roaming around in suitcases and purses..lol.

Illegal?!?!?! Seriously?!?!?! O.M.G.!

When my dad was stationed at Hahn AB, Germany......I ate very well between the ages of 14-16! I gained almost 40 pounds over there and it was because of that candy.......and all the freakin' delicious pastries, cakes, and breads! If I had some of that candy.....I would take it over to my mom's house as she loves that chocolate.
