Would You Rather...Summer Edition

Infinite supply of cold drinks. I can supplement my sun protection with SPF 50, sunshirts, hats, or just staying in the AC.

I miss Sonic. A Route 44 blue raspberry lemonade sounds so heavenly right now. (No idea why but all the ones in my county closed at once.)

While I do love a cold drink, I would go for never getting sunburnt again. I didn’t get my mom‘s olive complexion - I got my dad‘s fair freckled skin, so I get sunburned easily and would love to be able to not get sunburned again.

That is terribly sad! Sonic has the best ice ever!

I procreated with a red head, so I understand the challenges...two of my kids are very fair skinned and prone to the burn. I am sure they and their dad would pick this as well!

If I can’t get sunburnt that also suggests that I might have trouble tanning (not that my aging body needs to tan anyway). I would rather have the unlimited supply of cold drinks, even if that means endless trips to the bathroom….. Oh well, you can’t have it all, where would you put it?

I'd definitely choose the cold drinks! Not that I really run out of cold drinks normally, but traveling, camping, at the beach and such, to not have to stop would be wonderful! I don't really get sunburnt unless I'm crazy and go out for a very long time without sunscreen, which I really just don't do anymore. That was teenage Kelley lol.

This blurb from the Iowa City paper (Press Citizen 1979) points out why I had better choose the never get sunburned option.
People with fair skin and blue eyes particularly those who freckle easily, are most susceptible to sunburns, particularly people of Irish or Celtic background.” I hit all the categories!
Although, unlimited iced tea would be lovely too.

Same here. I do burn easily, and I'm pretty careful about sun exposure. But it would be great to not have to worry about the sun, so I'd choose "the power to never get sunburnt"!

Wait....who said anything about more bathroom trips!?! No thanks! You don't have to DRINK more, you just get it when you want it...and I assume without the expense. But you have a good point...where WOULD we put it? Do the trucks just pull up whenever we ask?

Yeah, teenage Becky used Bain de Soleil for that St. Tropez tan...there was no sunSCREEN when I was a teen!

I don't know...I'm Irish, Scottish, English and German--about as white as you can get--but I don't burn easily, so I don't know about this Iowa City paper blurb! I say, take your chances with the sun and get that unlimited iced tea!
