Do you linking-Goddesses have some kind of "help" with your linking in the galleries? I mean, I've seen layouts by Sara G., Amy Martin and other fabulous girls and I'm impressed to say the least! :dizzy I would have spent years doing the same :giggle

    Edit:
I mean linking to kits etc. in the store - I'm bad at explaining (especially in english, geeeee!)! :P
    Like Sara's credits ;)

I like to credit in detail. Not just the name of a kit, but if for example I used just a button from that kit, I specify that. So that if someone is interested in using what I used, they can find it easily. But I don't tend to mix and match all that much, so it's fairly easy to keep track of the products I use on a page. :)

I try to link all my goodies like that too. I usually just go through the store and open everything I used into tabs and when I do my credits I just close the tabs as I go. :) Of course I am no Sara or Amy though. LOL! they may have some fabulous way of doing it LOL

I have an AWESOME firefox extension that I use. It copies the store link and pastes as BB code.
My credits lists are usually huge and it has cut the time down considerably.

Oh, that's pretty cool Laura! But what does it put as text? You still have to type in the name of the product, right?

I do the same, and if I'm using bits and pieces from a large number of kits etc. I just keep a little list going in a notepad document or on a scrap of paper.

No, it does all of the work for you! I simply right click on the product name in the store link and it gives me both the name and the embedded link on my clipboard. It's one step.

I save it all in my Evernotes. I have a 'note' for each layout with a folder for that month that looks like this

    Title
    Date
    _____

    Kit by Designer
    Kit by Designer
    Font by Designer
    Action by Designer
    ______________

    Kit by Designer
    Kit by Designer
    Font by Designer
    Action by Designer

    ___________

Challenge Made for or Additional Information

Then each note is also tagged with the designer used or TLP challenge. So if I want to find something it is easy and I have all the links needed. It helps a lot since so often I create pages that can't be posted for a week or more later.

We used to have a spread sheet, but with so much great product in the store it was hard to keep it updated!!! The linking stuff always confused me - like where to grab the actual code and how it should look html wise! Some of the girls are so good at it!

That's the nice thing about the FF addon, all you do is select BB code and it handles the entire string of code.
