You don't need to slice it. Those instructions are explaining how you could have multiple links within your signature, like to send someone to your gallery, blog, instagram, etc. but you don't need to do that. I typically use my siggie to link to my personal challenge thread for quick access and I just link the entire image. But no links are needed at all.i nver made a siggie and am a bit confused by the directions. why do we slice it ? and do I make it on ps as a doc on white background or no background ? and step by step illustrations would be helpful. the directions didn't really help me ugh

I used a white background and make my signature... [mine is 505 x 200 pixels] then load it to the gallery, like I do a normal page. Then I go to my name at the top bar and click on it.. it gives me a drop down, and I choose signature:Hi Bobbie Jo.. It is not needed to slice as Kendra noted (the regular siggie instructions were down further in that help post..so sorry for the confusion!).. Slicing is only needed if you are linking something which is not what you are doingI used a white background and make my signature... then, (I have my gallery open to the siggie in another window) I grab the BB code and copy the code
View attachment 633514
then in the edit signature screen, I paste the BB code
View attachment 633515
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the window (or preview to see it first)
and then you should be good to go!

It won’t be on a layout in the gallery, it should only show here in the forum on posts. Which it does ! Well done! So glad I could help!@Christa thank you so much . your directions were very specific and easyto follow... one thing I don't understand is do I have to load up a new layout to see my siggie? i didn't see it at the bottom of any of my previous layouts that had been loaded before I made the siggie
