I have several cards to make this month and here are some of the ones I have so far. I made some cards with Becca's Walk by Faith: One Time Cards and Holiday Hoopla papers. The accordion card folds and was mailed in an envelope I created out of cardstock. I made this for our friends whose granddaughter was born with significant congenital issues and is facing surgery this week. They can hang it like a mobile in the NICU to help remind them God's with them. The little cards are for my son to use at his speech tournament this week. These kids get so understandably heartbroken if they don't break into finals, and Zach wanted something to encourage them.
That accordion card is really cool and isn't it great when journaling cards work so perfectly for greeting cards!?
It really is Dawn! I try to have a stash on hand when I make a hybrid project from a kit. I’m building a box of journal cards sorted by theme. Most of the time I just leave the journal cards cut out, and not placed on a card until I know what I want to send, but these little guys were perfect for the tournament so I made all of them up at once!
@mocamom - Do you have a link to the card instructions? I need a Make N Take and I think this would be cool to do.
These are all so cool! I love that cool accordion card so much! It would be really fun to do some that are holiday themed too!
@mocamom - I made this! I am going to a retreat next week and am hosting a Make N Take to make these. I am using up my old Creative Memories scrapbook paper for the cards. And I pulled a bunch of TLP quotes from all over my kits and printed them for them to use. Thanks again for sharing the inspiration!!
Oh Bev, yours turned out GORGEOUS! I love the colors and the word art too. What is a Make N Take? I'm glad this will work and I hope you scrap the weekend
I am hosting a table where people can come over during the retreat and make the card. I wrote up instructions so I am hoping they can do it on their own.
