January 25: Love Story Welcome to Day 25 of MOC 11. Today we will be focusing on coming home through storytelling. I would like your page to focus on a story…Everyone loves a good story. My children when they were little always wanted to hear a story. We would read books, but they always wanted me to tell them a story. I would take a true story, usually from my childhood and tell it to them. They loved it! A good story has a beginning that immediately grabs the reader’s attention and draws them in. Then in the middle of the story, we get the juicy details. The end, of course, wraps it all up with a nice pretty bow! For this challenge, I would like to hear a Love Story…as Taylor Swift says “I love you and that’s all I really know.” It can be any love story that you care to share. It doesn’t have to be about people, it could be a story about a place you love, an object you love, a food you love, you get the idea. Since this is a storytelling challenge though, please don’t just give me the facts. I want to read a story about whatever you are scrapping about and it needs to be a true story, not something you made up. Your page for this challenge must have: 1. A photo (1 or more) that goes with the story you are telling. (if you have one) 2. A true Love Story…however long it takes to tell it to me. In addition to the specific instructions above, your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places: Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site). Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean. Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish. Your page must contain Lilypad product (pages with photos and font only do not count). Product from other stores will not be allowed for MOC; your pages must contain 100% Lilypad product (current or retired product from designers or guest designers presently selling at The Lilypad).
Reserved for questions: 1. Does it have to be about people? NO it can be about an animal, a food, a place, anything you love. 2. Does it have to be about me? NO it can be about an animal, a food, a place, anything you love.
I failed at story writing at school so this was a struggle for me as I am not good at adding flowery words. So this is what I have come up with as it is a real love story:
Morning ladies. I think Kimberly is offline at the moment, but the answer is no, for both questions. "It can be any love story that you care to share. It doesn’t have to be about people, it could be a story about a place you love, an object you love, a food you love, you get the idea."
Oh! I have the most wonderful love story to scrap about, but I don't have any photos. Gotta see if I can be creative in some way, and see if I have any photo that could go with it. Or ... I'll just save that love story for later & scrap something else. Don't need to tell our love story again, I scrap about how much I love that man 3 times a week already. LOL
