"Hear my Voice: Hurting" by myself and Rachel Jefferies

Powerful song by Lucinda Williams. Not about me, if you know what I mean :nope But eerily describes someone close to me who also loved Lucinda so it speaks to me, even if painful.
 
I just went with the lyrics. Explaining it all would take me back to the Day 10 challenge and I want to handle that differently. ;)

 


I always love this song, very moving melody and the lyrics can be interpreted in many ways: about a lost loved one, about two star-cross lovers or a love that spans for years and beyond death (not necessarily romantic love)

The song, A place in Time by Amanda Abizaid, is from the soundtrack of "The 4400" (2004), a USA TV show. There is a remake (2021), it was a good show, but sadly it was cancelled. You can listen the song on YouTube.

I'm not a music person so I didn't know where to start. I googled 60's songs and had a real emotional reaction when I came upon this title. Oh, yeah, I remember that one.

 
Lyrics from Moving on Up by M People with bonus song hidden in the embellishing (I Want to Break Free) with Break Free on the torn label and the crown representing Queen on the background paper.

Thanks for this! This page took me way too long, because I was being too particular. But, it's a good memory that I needed to document. My sister and I text each other Taylor Swift lyrics. I added lyrics from different songs, and the title of each.
