Holiday card!

The photos are wonderful and your card turned out great! I love how you list what everyone is up to on the back! We just sent out boxed cards this year, Unicef cards I picked up a couple years ago.

what a great card! I love how you listed what everyone is up to on the back! I didn't manage to get cards out again this year. Sigh. I haven't even cut up the kid's school pictures to hand out. I'm going to do that today before the first batch of family arrives.

I text people their Christmas Greetings. I didn’t even send a card to my parents. I know I am an abomination. Here is Charlotte in all her Christmas finery!

I haven't been doing holiday cards consistently since sometime over a decade ago, but this year I asked my family to sit for a portrait in our backyard for my birthday the week of Thanksgiving and I wanted to send the photo to my Dad. Shutterfly was having a deal for 10 free cards at that moment, so I ordered those and then chose nine other people besides my Dad for the rest.

I haven't sent cards for a half dozen years or more, but felt like sending some this year. I don't take photos anymore (not that I stopped, but I haven't been) and I didn't feel like setting up a photo shoot. This seemed like a good way to start back up.

I went through my old card list (from 2013! I don't know if that was the last time or just the last update to it) and all of the cards that I received over the last two years and sent out sixteen cards this morning. (I was a bit late.) But I enjoyed it and it made me happy to believe that I was sending cards to people that really wanted them, not just the ones I thought I *should* send to.

Maybe next year I'll get them out *before* Christmas. LOL
