Thank you all so much!!! I never win games like this so it was a SWEET SURPRISE!!!!

 

Yep, I was a silent player for most of the game. And I've won before, so it is always nice to have someone new win.

 

I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't tried it. Even DH was totally pumped by it.

 

I don't know but now I want to make either some cornbread or I have this amazing recipe for some sweet onion muffins that go GREAT with chili or other soups!!!

 

I second this, twice.

I'm very very curious what replaces the corn in Marilyn's cornbread, and I love onions, Meagan.

I love onions too, Michele!!! I can eat them like apples!! lololol Unfortunately, there is currently a big onion recall so we have to be careful which onions we get now.

SWEET ONION MUFFINS
1 ½ Cups Flour
½ Cup Sugar
1 ½ tsp. Baking Powder
½ tsp. Salt
2 Eggs
1 Cup Onion, Finely Chopped
½ Cup Butter, melted (or Margarine)

In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, powder and salt. In another bowl, beat the eggs, onion, and butter until blended. Stir into the dry ingredients just until moistened. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups ¾ full. Bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan. Makes 1 dozen.

I always like to make these muffins when I make homemade French Onion Soup! Can never have enough onions!
