Thank you! I went back dark again a few years ago and I did not like it at all. I think I've gotten used to the lighter hair and can't go back. Did you take a selfie of your new hair?
I colored my hair for years but decided during the pandemic that it was no longer a priority, I’ve gone gray.
I tried going red a few times in my twenties, then in my thirties I had blonde highlights but man the texture of that was dreadful. I have reconciled myself to my brown helmet now, but the few greys are wiry and have a mind of their own. Just Tease It And Make It Look Like A Brown Football Helmet quotes › Steel Magnolias
I have been going red since I was in my late teens..... I auditioned for background singing for a show- they call me back, said the job was mine providing I went red... they had already one brunette, one blond, so... I did it. I had times in which I let mine grow, (nearer to black) then I went very black in 2003 but very soon back to red...when I also chopped most of it off......I still do red (at home- all health & beauty things are so expensive here) Sarita thinks I ll be good in grey , and wouldn't need to colour it but I disagree...my grey hairs are not so much aqs to take over, and I did one of those things with the phone and I think I look soooo old!!!!!
I did it September 4th, as was my birthday day after and we were lucky enough to be able to go to have lunch at a Spanish restaurant love and no danger of being in contact with people.... now Bart is going to talk to @Cristina ...maybe he will ask her to give him some funky hair color for next event? heheheheh
I was born with white/blonde hair. It stayed that color until I was about 10, then it became the dishwater blonde that so many of us end up with. When I was a teenager, my aunt (and mom helped) to color my hair. I think the product was Go Go Light. Then off to university where I pretty much ignored it. I started coloring it again (a lighter blonde). Tried to use a semi-permanent dye since I didn't get the dark roots when it grew out. A few years before I retired, I stopped entirely. I'm pleasantly surprised with my hair color, a light brown/dark blonde with just a few strands of gray in it. Interestingly it goes with my complexion so much better than any dyed hair I ever had.
I started with blond hair until I was 7 and it went brown, then in my teens really mousy brown. Now it is dark brown, but I dye it light brown. I have a gray streak on each side at the temple that I hate and I recently colored it a honey/blonde and it looks much better. I am getting more gray, but it not too visible. My youngest daughter had the same blonde/light brown and now it is dark like mine, but we dye ours the same color. We go to the same stylist, her best friend whom she has known since elementary school. i get mine colored every couple of months or so. Sometimes, I let it grow out before coloring, but I don't like the dark hair as my complexion is light
