I am not an early bird at all. My hubby is an early bird. I am more of a midafternoon pidgeon. I used to be a big night owl, but work has been crazy, and I am exhausted when I get home at night. I love sleeping in but my catsdon't often let me do so.

Terrible night owl! 10 am is early enough for me to get up. LOL

I'm definitely a night owl. I love sleeping in if I possibly can. Even if I'm up early, I don't seem to hit my stride or creativity mojo until late afternoon/evening/overnight.

    I am neither - I rock 11 am though.
If afternoon is a mid-afternoon pigeon I am not sure what that makes me?

I'm a forced morning person for now. I'm a true night owl if it was my choice. Work gets in my way! :giggle I have to get up at 5:45/6... and it's a struggle every day. It also doesn't help that I like to read late into the night... I try for bed by 10/10:30... but some days force it at 11:30/12.

If it was me I would find a new job. That’s way to early for me. When do you get off work then?

Night owl. In fact, Mom had written in my baby book that when I was 5 weeks old I would sleep during the day then stay up until midnight after my 6p.m. bottle. She wasn't real happy about that! I did get better as a child but in my adult years, I found that I was more productive in the afternoon/evening hours. The years that I worked 2nd shift were so good for my physical well-being.

Now that I'm retired I find that I will wake up on my own around 7, no later than 8 but it takes me a couple of hours to get motivated to do anything. So I schedule any appointments for 10 a.m. or later.

It's got the right combo - flexibility, casual, workable work... and I've been there 15 years. I'm at work by 7:15 usually.... lol... I get off at 5. I prefer this so I can work 4 days a week (we changed to 4 so we can stagger people through covid, we never closed) rather than 5... so I'm off Friday/Sat/Sunday.

Night owl for sure, just like my father. My mom was a morning person ... AFTER she had her first cup of tea in the peace and quiet. I struggle to get myself up and at work by 8AM, in spite of doing it for 42½ years now.

I'm definitely more of a night owl, but I do love a good sunrise! If I'm on vacation, I love getting up early to watch the sunrise, but here at home, I've been sleeping in more.

I used to be a night owl but the last 5 yrs or so I started going to bed earlier and waking up earlier. Now I love getting up in the early morning, feeding the birds and dogs and then sitting down to enjoy my book and coffee, around 6:30-7.

I used to always be a night owl. Whenever I'd have a few days off at work I'd stay up until 2 or 3:00 am working on creative projects because that's when it was quiet at my house. Then we both my kids were in school fulltime at a private school with no buses, I started going to work at 6:30am and getting off at 3:00, so I could pick them up from school. That forced me to be a morning person even though it took me YEARS to really get used to those hours. Now even when I try to sleep in these days, I just can't do it anymore. It's so annoying! :giggle By body just wakes up and refuses to go back to sleep. And now that both my kids are in high school which is walking distance from our house, I no longer have to get off at 3:00 to pick them up and I'm back to work 8-5 again.

Now most of the time when I'm up late it's because I'm reading WAY past my bedtime. Oops!
