We've been at this for a few years...members come and go...we don't always want to repeat our challenges/tutorials.....so....I wonder if you have requests or ideas for next year?

Maybe tweak some of the old MOC challenges that people don't have access to any more. I know I missed out on the first few years and since the forums are hidden I can't even look to see what was done.

    @HavaDrPepper

I'm not sure if you can still view the 2021 MOC forum, but @Karen shared the challenges (with text and images). Here's the link to the thread: First 5 years of MOC

Here's a copy/paste of what Karen shared in that thread in case you can't view the MOC 9 forum:

MOC Past Years folder (has all the word docs inside)
    MOC 1 - 2013 (just a list)
    MOC 2 - 2014 (just a list)
    MOC 3 - 2015
    MOC 4 - 2016
    MOC 5 - 2017
    MOC 6 - 2018
    MOC 7 - 2019
    MOC 8 - 2020
    MOC 9 - 2021

I have that info but would like to see the actual threads for the challenges because you know little tips of how things can be done are sometimes shared in subsequent posts. And seeing the layouts created for each challenge can be inspiring. Using the gallery to look at layouts just doesn't do it for me. Still hoping the forums for the early MOC's will be added to the MOC area of the Events Pad.

So yeah, I still say tweak some of the old MOC challenges.

I was simply sharing the info since you said in your post that you couldn't see the challenges, not negating your request for the challenges to be tweaked. :blush

@HavaDrPepper they probably take up an enormous amount of "cloud space" and perhaps have to be " re'entered " somehow, wouldn't envy anyone that job.
But what do I know ?
There were some super challenges, I remember the book cover challenge, and the if walls could talk ones.

Oh whew! I wasn't sure if you were upset - it's so hard to read when you don't have voice inflection and facial cues! LOL Love ya right back! :bk

I like the challenges that ask to use a photo 20,50,70 years old, compare an old pic to a new one in some way (age progression etc) use black and white photos, photography challenges.

Maybe something on page design/composition (using white space; using the 'rule of thirds;' using complementary or analagous colours)?

Photo-less scrapping (how to make an interesting/compelling page, when you don't have a photo to accompany your story)?

Titles (working with fonts/alphas to create a dramatic/aesthetically pleasing title)?
