So it's school holidays here but that just means time for assignments so in preparing something for History, DS showed me he found his name is a scripty kind of font! (which he can't read terribly easily so he decided not to use it ( & he thought it didn't suit ancient Greece anyway)

So of course, we looked for a Justine font then (couldn't find a bellbird font)- can't say i love it, mine looks like it's from The Lettering Book we used for school projects (on cardboard) in the late '80's/early '90's & is a bit MS Publisher from 1998 and rather loopy & whimsical

(And because i mentioned The Lettering Book, this is it, I don't know if this was an Aussie book, but it was on the bookshelves of pretty well everyone i knew in school)

So is your name a font? Like it? Not a fan?
(And did you have a Lettering Book equivalent for school projects before everything was on MS Powerpoint (or Google Slides, because 'Mum! no one uses Powerpoint anymore' [insert eyeroll])

I thought I would split my name as I doubt there would be an Anne-Marie

They both look very useful fonts.

Yes, there are many fonts, actually different types (script, sans, etc.)

Well, this was fun. I found 3 - one is all uppercase printing, which is how I "write" most of the time. One was cursive and the other is side-splitting!! Don't cross me!!:rollin

    Here are the first two:

Look at how hysterical this one is!!! "The Silent Hell of Cheryl Font"..:rollin

I HAVE to have that one!!

It wouldn't let me download both "cheryl's" because they're both named cheryl by the author. Does anybody know how to change the name of a downloaded font so I can get them both? I tried and wasn't successful.

The two fonts that I have with my name in them are both “Pea” fonts - neither of which remotely look like my handwriting by the way....mine is absolutely awful....a downside to growing up in the era of computers and smart phones I guess!

I'm pretty sure those fonts were from Two Peas DT members. Boy, that takes me back.

Well I was surprised at how many Julia fonts there are. I'm not sure I'd use them but I like the names of these:

The Anne font looks like the perfect 'wrote it with a texta'! ('marker' I think they say in the US)

This probably dates me but that Will & Grace font was pretty trendy when I started digiscrapping :blush The first one is like wedding invitation script cool but your name runs the gamut of every style really -thats pretty amazing to me!

Pea fonts manage to cover every kind of handwriting you could ever want - if only it were as easy to write both legibly and consistently in real life!!

LOL that sounds so much better than Justine Old and Justine Regular which sound more like how i feel somedays or a takeaway meal that isn't upsized! (i don't know that i've ever used 'all lower case' fonts myself either - not that you'd know it from my forum typing but i do like capitals at the start of my sentences in a journal block
