Hello Need a little help here: I completed the last 4 MOC, and I was wondering if some of you who has done all 9, well, if you saved all the challenges instructions? I have this idea for some time now, I'd love to try to kinda complete all the 9 years Can someone help me? I know @Karen and @cfile Christa are 2 of those master MOCers , maybe one of you girls? Thank you in advance and congrats to all MOC9 winners, participants, guest pollys and new pollys @JenEm and @Eyeore!! p.s. sorry if this isn't the right place for this post, feel free to move it if that's the case
@Farwen Francesca, I don't have a list or savings of all the 9 MOC's instructions .. Julie might have them all archived @mrs2a50 ... I do know that MOC8 is there is still there under the events. That is all I can see. Sorry I can't be of more help.
I'd love to see the prompts for the first three years I missed. What a fun idea! And gosh, to think I could have only missed two years, but I didn't stick around when I first discovered TLP in January 2015. It would take until the end of that year before I realized this should be my digiscrap home.
It is my goal to bring back all of the past MOC challenges and archive them into the Events Pad. I can't guarantee how quickly it will happen, but it will happen!
I suggested awhile back that the old MOC forums be made available as archived forums (can look at but not post in). Julie like the suggestion but said it would have to happen at another time as this was right before the current MOC. I know, for me, there were directions on how to do some things using PSP that I would like to look at again.
I'm glad to see I am in such good company!! And thanks @mrs2a50 Julie, I can't wait! Without pressure.... ....
Based on looking at my scrapbook pages for my earliest couple of years, because I gave them title names based on the challenge prompts, I can share this much . . . 2016 MOC4 1. blind scrap 2. list 3. text spacing (I don't remember this. Maybe we talked about kerning and other things like that.) 4. photoless 5. imperfect photo 6. ??? Thank you Michele! I remember some of the MOC5 days because it was my first attempt, only made the first 2 days, but I clearly remember the talking walls one!!
I have a bunch of the years saved in a big long Word document with some of the images too... they may not be completely accurate, but would be good enough to work through them. I think I have years 2015 through 2021. So I'm only missing years 1 and 2. The ones before that I only have my own challenge saved. I'm happy to share them, but it might be easier to see if the forums get restored. Let me know if anyone wants those. I could post them in Dropbox or something for a while.
I have all the challenge titles for all the years in a Google Doc, but not the details or instructions for each one. It would be so fun to see them all again!! I need to do year one, since that's the only one I missed
Some additions/clarifications on the MOC 4 and MOC 5 list: MOC 4: Day 3 - adjusting text spacing on lined paper so that text was on the lines Day 6 - Do a layout with photo & journaling based on a Made-up Song Title from a Made-up Album Day 8 - journaling - one word that describes you Day 9 - activity you do that is like therapy Day 13 - photo and journaling of a long ago memory Day 17 - Page title with at least 5 different alphas/fonts Day 20 - Use the same number at least 5 times all different Day 22 - layout looking like a magazine ad (clean/graphic style) Day 27 - design with strong horizontal lines MOC 5: Day 6 - Inspiration Board challenge Day 11 - Scrap what you're doing at 8:00 AM Day 13 - One Word Challenge - Explore Day 17 - I think this was clustering - 3 different clusters on the page - large. medium, and small clusters Day 19 - List of personal accomplishments Day 24 - Cluster that went both behind and on top of a photo Day 28 - Scraplift of a paper scrapped page (maybe from a Pinterest board) Day 29 - Design an album's title page Day 30 - Art journaling using an arch shape Day 31 - Page that shows a journey/route traveled on a map
Ooooh, wouldn't be funny if they used the first MOC year as a starting point for the ten anniversary next year???? Like, how it was/started and how you'd make it now, like first MOC but 2.0, with all the new techniques and new styles and everything (because in 10 years things somehow changed, you know). Sorry for my english, I don't know if that makes any sense.... Anyway, yes, for fun, all of this is for fun Michele!!!
Thank you Judy! As I said I remember something about MOC5, for example I think day 30 had some gift involved, for the arches, from Pink Reptile maybe?? I'm on my phone, so I can't check
