Wow, it is already February and what a world wind January was with the daily MOC challenges. While I am behind the scenes, I will tell you for most of the challenges (except my own) I read the instructions the day of the challenge and did them all right along with you! For the month of February, I am proud to be hosting the Random Challenge. Since we have been discussing the MOC, my random challenge will involve just that! Pick from the MOC Challenge thread here. You have 3 choices: Choose a page you want to redo. [Perhaps a page that you may have done differently.] ** Please show original page and redo** There was a challenge you really loved and want to do it again. **Indicate which challenge** If you did not particpate in the MOC, (or didn't do all of the challenges), choose an MOC challenge you would like to do for the February's Random Challenge. **Indicate which challenge** Here is my page. I chose #1 to redo my Acrostic challenge page from MOC Day 17. My original page with the word CREATE: My Random Challenge page for February with the word FAMILY: (*Credits in the gallery) Now it is your turn! As always, please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the February Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I am excited to see your pages! Have fun!
Yes Jennifer that falls under bullet point #3 ... it won't count for MOC as it needs to be a new page, just let us know which one you are picking and that will be perfect for the Random Challenge! Thanks for asking!
Thank you for the fun challenge Christa! It's exactly what I needed! There are quite a few pages I would like to redo. I chose option 1 - Choose a page you want to redo. I redid the challenge from Jan 9 - Bokeh Effect. My boyfriend took the photo unexpected during one of our walks. The photo is far from perfect, but we both love how it turned out. It's the facing page of my last MOC layout. Here's my layout.
@cfile Christa what a great challenge for us. Once I get my new computer fully set up I hope to get stuck into some of this month's challenges.
YAY I am glad you are happy with this month's Random Challenge. Hopeyou are up and running soon Anne-Marie!
Here is Day 15 - Clean & Simple I had so many more photos I wanted to use - and also my Italy book can't be 300 pages long ( it could based on the # of photos I took though!) it also is going to face Day 16 in my album
Love this idea, Christa! @cfile There were a couple MOC pages that just didn't hit the mark- lowjo mojo, LOL!
I am going with the January 4 - Flower Power for my challenge. and my layout 2009.01 Abby - Big Girl Panties by rdjrneace posted Feb 3, 2021 at 5:03 PM
I finished all the challenges - but I really enjoyed the stamped background (Jan 19) challenge. So I made another page
I loved the Day 30 Extreme Shadows 3D World challenge, but I wasn't happy with my shadows. Here's my original page: And here is my redo:
Oh there were quite a few I want to redo because I loved them - I chose Challenge 18 Combine Two Templates though for this page.
I decided to finish off a page I had started for Day 23 - the interview. I started this because I was not sure I would be able to interview my sister after failing to get my husband to cooperate with me when I tried to interview him. so thankyou Christa for inspiring me with your challenge to finish this page.
