Hello everyone! Welcome to Day 24 of The Lilypad's MOC! You’ve made it this far, just a week left!
Are you having fun?
Today is all about COLORS! Complementary Colors!

Complementary colors are opposites on the color wheel. They're called complementary because they support one another and 'fill in' the areas each are missing.
You can think of complementary colors as BFFs – a natural pair of total opposites.
Because they're total opposites, a pair of complementary colors has the highest sense of color contrast with each other of any two colors.
This means that if you busted out your paints and mixed any two complementary colors together, you'd find yourself with a neutral grayish brown.
So the same contrast which makes the pairs super dynamic, with tons of energy also means the two can cancel out when mushed together.

Here are some complementary color combos you'll probably recognize:

My challenge for you is to create a page using a complementary color combo. Easy peasy and fun!!!!

Adobe Photoshop has a color wheel as a extension called Adobe Color Themes - In Photoshop, select Window > Extensions > Adobe Color Themes.

Or you can use online for free:
https://color.adobe.com/create/color-wheel
https://www.canva.com/colors/color-wheel/

Challenge Requirements:
1- Create a page using a complementary color combo
2- The background can be slightly patterned but it must be white, black, kraft or grey
3- You can use some black, white, grey accents, like small inks, small wordarts, dates, stitches and tapes but everything besides that must follow the color combo you choose
4- Use at least one photo. If the colors don't match your chosen complementary colors, the photo(s) must be black and white. The B&W photo will make it pop against the colors.

1. Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site).
2. Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean.
3. Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish.

Your page must contain Lilypad product (pages with photos and font only do not count). If you use product from other stores, your pages must contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers).

Saving this post for clarifications.

Q: I do not have a color wheel here in PS 6 so I can only assume that I would have to add it manually.
A: you can use online for free, just pic one color and chose the complementary option ;)

https://www.canva.com/colors/color-wheel/

Q: Can we have other papers in addition to the white background, so long as the majority of the background is neutral?
A: if they are the one of the colors you chose, yes.

Q: Would a neutral wood paper work? Like the one in this paper pack:
https://the-lilypad.com/store/Fancy-Neutrals-Papers.html
A: YES!!!!!!!

Q: Your challenge did not mention a specific page size. Would a 12x12 2-page spread (so 12x24) be acceptable?
A: Yes!!!!!
