I'm just happy I can order the darn calendar ... it's actually more efficient to order it than run store to store looking for one. Hopefully they'll keep printing it until at least 2023 when I plan to retire. :)

Don't you hate when that happens? I've found 1 of something (usually workout pants - I don't workout, but I love to wear them) - and can't find another pair ANYWHERE!!! Even Amazon doesn't have them!

My favorite pair of pants I bought at Costco. I went back for another pair - gone. And of course, no luck finding them anywhere.

Funny you mention this because I didn't even think about it as "obsolete" until now, but I had the same issue! DD started paper scrapping about a year ago; I thought it would be easy to find replacement blades for my decades-old Fiskara cutter, but it wasn't.
 
Ahhh so many things over the years. Now when I find a "go to" item I keep a little extra stock hoard it to assure I have some :)
My latest is my Mac Lip Glass in Mystic Powers... I've bought one for my purse and one for my car, one for the junk drawer, and one for my makeup bag... every time it goes on sale I buy another LOL... backups for my backups.

I'm still upset that they discontinued the Hello chat/photosharing software. I used it all the time with my scrap friends to share layouts as we made them. I can't find evidence of it anywhere online anymore so if someone can, please share a screenshot of it on this thread!

Well y'all might laugh at me, but I have been searching for a year for WOMEN'S painter's pants - - remember those? Well, I kept seeing them in Men's section, but never in ladies. I don't order pants online, but even so I searched and found a few but from China! Already went that route once- not a good experience, lol! :cry I LOVED them- the comfort, the pockets...

me too! i have to order on amazon. once in awhile i can find it in the quilting section but not usually!
 
There was this Dawn degreaser cleaner that I loved. It was in a blue spray bottle. It made cleaning hard stuck on pots and pans so easy. And also was great for cleaning my very hard to clean gas stove top. It's been a few years so I'm over it - but I hear there's a new one on the market that I need to get my hands on and try out.

I recently found this at my grocery store and agree!!! It’s super!
 
My entire Sterilite drawer system. I loved it for close to 20 yrs. I started making cards and went to open a drawer and the frame of the drawer system disintegrated, like crumbled in my hands. The drawers are in perfect shape! I realized Sterlite discontinued this system in 2014!!!!! Their replacement (which I got because I can't find anything else in the same size) is CRAP! The drawers are not even a rectangle as in the side cave in a bit because the material is SO CHEAP! It is going to have to do because there is nothing else out there on this size. I AM NOT HAPPY!

I may or may not have purchased a large quantity online when I couldn't find them in the stores. but again- that was years ago... I'm hoping at Easter they may come back fingers crossed!!!

So many items.... A mascara and other make up that I loved, hair products, and cleaning products. Ugh... hate when they discontinue!
 
Way back in around 1987? (and yes I know some of you weren't born yet...) my coworker told me she was so upset her favorite bra had been discontinued. I was still newly back to the US and had no idea this kind of thing could happen! Now it's close to bra replacement time again for me, and I have been wearing the same 4 I got at Costco some time ago. Fun fun...I get to try and find a good replacement batch again!!! I have those 4 simply because every department store at our used-to-be good Mall only had 1 of any bra that I liked and clerks who just shrugged so I figured at least I could get a Costco bunch without having to try them on in their bathrooms.

But the first thing that did come to my mind was an item from my childhood...vanilla popsicles from the ice cream man! when I heard that bell I'd get a dime and run like hell to get to the truck. I did find a vanilla popsicle a few years back at a big Hispanic grocery store Dick and I used to go to once in a while to get several batches of cut pork for making posole but the store is always crowded and I'm not risking it now. :( Calorie shift to other things...
 
Since all the Covid thing, I can’t hardly find Cherry Coke Zero or Cherry Diet Coke. I bought a Cherry Syrup for snow cones to add, but it tastes like cough syrup - ewww! So now I’m addicted to Sonic Diet Coke’s with Cherry and that gets expensive. Oh well, life goes on and I drink too many of those things anyways. I think I’ll switch to Margaritas instead.
 
My first response was an entire store (Kroger's) since they closed 17 of them in our area, but I am over my grief. So the thing I miss most is their big bags of kernel (regular) popcorn in yellow and in white. Silly perhaps, but I make popcorn every Sunday night so I need big bags. I have yet to find it in bags. I do not like or eat microwave popcorn.

Found a new way to make it this summer after having some really good bagged popcorn. It was cooked in coconut oil and sprinkled with pink Himalayan salt. We have been making it that way at home now -- so good.

A year ago, I scrapped this page about it.
