September Style Challenge

Hi Everyone,
September is here and this month I’m hosting the STYLE CHALLENGE! Its been awhile since we’ve done a Grunge style challenge, so I thought this month we’ll get all messy but with an added twist!

Lets create a grungy page with LOTS OF CLUSTERED AND LAYERED ELEMENTS, PAINT & TEXTURE but group them all so that your elements and photos move across the page side to side or top to bottom IN A STRIP. Essentially you are creating a band of elements that spans from the very edge of your page right across to the opposite edge.

CHALLENGE CRITERIA:

• Create a grunge style page with lots of layered elements, paint and texture that spans across you page like a strip. (I want to see plenty of stuff in your cluster the more the merrier).

• Place your grouped elements either horizontally or vertically so long as they completely reach/ go over the edge of your page.

Here is my page. I had to use last months gorgeous M3 Music Speaks collection and create a page of my fave feel good enrichment, singing loudly!

As always, please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the SEPTEMEBER Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread.

The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month:

2 challenges = 10% off
4 challenges = 20% off
6 challenges = 30% off

If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
