Happy August to you! Hard to believe we are on the downslope of 2020. One of my favorite sources of inspiration is good old-fashioned paper scrapbook pages. I love the look of ink and paint on paper, as well as the gorgeous paper layers, not to mention all the fun 3D embellishments and ephemera. For this month's scraplift challenge I would like you to lift a paper layout. There are many places on-line to view beautiful paper layouts. You may have a favorite scrapper you follow, kit clubs and on-line stores have galleries, and of course there is Pinterest. I have created a board of some lovely paper pages for inspiration. https://www.pinterest.com/bu_ashley/paper-love/ Please post a picture of the paper layout you've chosen along with your original digital page. I chose this page by Steffi Ried of Scrap Sweet Scrap. Here's my page. I hope you have fun with this lift and can't wait to see your pages! Gentle Reminder: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the August Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
I'm choosing this layout from January Mood Board - Jot Magazine: Here's mine with a large cluster anchoring the photo and it is one of my favorites (playing off her theme of "my favorite").
Found this layout on a Scrapbook.com gallery. Hope to digitize it. Here is the blog where the lady tells how she made the page. http://simplyrebeca.blogspot.com/2020/08/yummy-layout.html Here is my version.
Ok, the ultimate in hubris - assuming I can make the link work - I'll scraplift one of my own pages from about five years ago. I always liked this one.... (sorry the image is so large - I don't know how to shrink it!) And my retake on it:
here's the LO I choose on my Pinterest, it's by Leanne Allinson, the link from her blog here: http://leanneallinson.blogspot.com/2012/08/amy-tangerine.html and my version:

I chose this layout by Anna Komenda: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/86412886583276784/ (Sorry! I cannot figure out how to embed the image in this post!) This is me, as a bridesmaid, in 1986:
I think this is the first time I've tried a scraplift challenge and I loved it! Here is the layout I lifted from: And my take on it:
This is the one I lifted found here https://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/199258-it-wasn-t-me and this is my version:
