Now that I am scrapping again after too many years off I'm going back and re-organizing my old stash of digi supplies. Started with my actions/styles folder and I used to love love love Traci Murphy (and a few other designer) drop shadows but they are .atn files and I guess they won't work with my current version of PSE. I think maybe back then I used them in Photoshop CS2!? I really don't remember for sure. But it's time to add them to the trash can and I am super sad. Anyone have any suggestions to where I can find some awesome realistic shadows? Thanks for any help!
Hi Megan @meganmecrazy ATN file extensions are actions and you may be able to use them in PSE, depending on whether they were tested and sold to be used in PSE rather than just full-blown Photoshop. I wouldn't toss them now until you've tried to install them in your actions panel and tried them out. They are different from styles, which have an ASL file extension and are installed in a separate panel. Hope that helps! I have these drop shadow styles:
I was coming to say... what so eloquently Cheryl just posted! (even with her link to her shadows). There are a bunch to choose from in the store in addition to Cheryl's.
Thank you girls SO much!!! I'm loving these shadows you shared with me! I actually just bought the @gonewiththewind set and can't wait to try them out...I will eventually own all the above though lololol So, I had no clue there was another "panel" I need to figure this out now haha!
You may not see the actions panel or the styles panel if you haven't activated them. At the top of your program, you should have a list of items beginning with FILE. Go over to WINDOW and click there, and you'll get a pop-up menu. Once you check ACTIONS and STYLES, those panels will appear.
I can not thank you enough!!! <3 <3 <3 I loaded them and tried a few and they worked!! I think the new ones I got from here may be easier to use! lol I can't wait to try them out!!
