Random Winner: @jagruti patel ! Thanks everyone who played in my Slow Scrap! I hope you had fun.
I don't know about you, but it seems like Spring is slow to start out. First a warm day here, a flower blooms there, a mushroom is spotted in the remnants of the leaves, and there's some weeds poking through the rocks. Suddenly, one day you look around and realize that all those little steps created something magical and Spring is here!
We are going to follow that lead. This is a (slow) Blooming Spring scrap. What's that mean? It means you'll start with the first instruction below. And the rest (for a total of 8) will come over the weekend. All instructions will be given out by Saturday night when I go to bed. I'm in PDT, in case you wondered, and I have a late bedtime during INSD.
But don't worry! You will have until 11 am EDT on Tuesday, May 5 to post your completed page.
The instructions will be updated here, and in the posts below. Follow them all, and suddenly, just like Spring, you'll have a beautiful scrap page completed.
Instructions:
1. Pick out 4 or more photos.
2. Use 5 papers.
3. Use 1 Journal Card. It does not have to be one to write on. It can be a quote or pretty journal card.
4. Journaling: At least 3 lines. No maximum.
5. Add a piece of washi or two if you'd like.
6. Add at least two word strips.
7. Add a button. Just one!
8. Add anything you need to finish your layout, as long as you keep the rules above intact.
Here's my layout:
A few housekeeping notes (AKA the rules):
