@bestcee I actually figured out a combination of papers and preset that match just perfect so I went with a colour version after all. But maybe someone else decided to go b/w. Now I only need proper daylight to photograph it ... challenges of hybrid life
I was up before the sunrise, wanted to take a photo of the gorgeous colors that had been gracing our sky almost daily. But today, there was nothing, just an intense cloud cover. So on to plan B, shooting toward a window with my outdoor/indoor plants in view. I hope this will work for the challenge, in particular the silhouette of the tall grass.
Same here. We are in our 8 months of grays here in Michigan. Seriously everyone is on 50k vitamin D due to lack of sunshine
With some help from my hubby, we got it! Day 14: Photography Technique - Silhouette Take a NEW as of today or after today photo with main subject as the silhouette. I used papers and elements from All About Me, YOU, and US. My main subject is Phil JR (upper right photo) and his papa, Papa Phil lower photo. - the journaling tells a story about Phil and Phil Jr.
I posted an additional link in the Q &A post. Think lights in your house. Perhaps a book or other object in front of a lamp?
It does not need to be totally black, but it should be a silhouette and not just a dim photo. Does that help?
Thank you @bestcee! You made my little boy so happy today. he was so glad to have an afternoon at the beach so that I can get this photo of him. We waited for the sunset...so thank you!
@bestcee We drove out to Calico Ghost Town with some friends from California. I was SOOO tempted to use it, but I can't lie...
Thanks for the fun challenge @bestcee - I hijacked my DD Stephanie to take a bunch of silhouette pictures until I got one that I liked.
