Yes. Other photos on the page do not have to be a silhouette. Just the biggest one.

As long as the silhouette photo is new, there can be older photos on the page.

    Yes. Color isn't a requirement.

how are we to know the date of the photo unless you tell us? Too bad you already told us or you could have just changed the date ;)

    Yes, that is totally okay.

I found this article with an example for a cloudy day and tips on how she did it.

You can do it! The photo at the bottom right in my example is actually taken at nighttime, after sunset. The pipes behind us glow brightly creating the silhouette regardless of the sky weather. I've also gotten some silhouettes of my kid playing video games in front of the TV. Not a lot of light inside, plus the bright tv screen = silhouette.

    Consider it practice? :giggle:bk

But, um, where's a good spot to do that? Red Rock? :whistle

It does not have to be a person. An object or nature is just fine.

My first thought was to take a photo of my husband coming out of the bathroom after brushing his teeth (I was still lounging in bed so he kept the light off in the bedroom but the light was on in the bathroom)....it ended up looking like we had an intruder, none of the cool effect I was going for...kinda creepy, ha ha. On to take less creepy pictures!

That would be hilarious! Like that 20/20 show:
Intruder? Or just a clean teeth husband? You decide.....:rofl

Credit to my cat for hopping up on the stand in my office and staying there long enough for photos!

Mine. I was lucky. On the way home from work, I had this beautiful sunset over the volcanoes of the Auvergne (France)

I actually made two pages. I haven't had any family pics for 6 months now due to whatever reason DS&DIL hold on to the shut out. Missed holidays, birthdays, so... trying to do MOC has been a true challenge. I had this older photo that was perfect for the challenge so I did this page:

This one is current so it meets the challenge requirements:

I don't even have trees and my husband comes home way after dark. I have silhouette photos just not new. Such a bummer.

This was fun! I had to think because it's gray and rainy here, too. I do enjoy falling into a good story <3.
