Hi Everyone! I'm here to bring you some inspiration to get your scrapping juices going! This month, I was looking for images on Instagram to see what inspired me, and I came across a cute little creative talent using embroidery/sewing. This would never be something I would be able to create. It is embroidery taken to the next level. Here is a snippet of her Instagram page below. You can follow this link to scroll through or just use one of the images below as your inspiration. They are full of color, textures, and so many different looks/locations. So much to be inspired by! Choose one of her images/creations, and use that as inspiration for your layout. Please link to the one that you were inspired by to give proper credit. Look at style, color, texture, and environment or share what inspired you! Shimunia Instagram Page Here is the layout I created. I was inspired by this creation found here: The bright color, the circle edging and the darker blues. I can't wait to see what you choose and what you create - be inspired! All the details: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery , the Style Challenge Gallery and then linked to the November Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges)
I was inspired by this one found here My photo has the same content; Mountains, plants and water, I added an artistic filter (smudge stick) to emulate the stitching and to turn the photo into a work of art. I really love how it turned out.
Very nice challenge! i was inspired by this one: With the green valley (on my picture) the circle (the journaling)
I literally gasped seeing this challenge! Her IG is so amazing & I can't wait to see everything inspired by it this month
Absolutely gorgeous! I chose this picture And put trees in my background and chose to separate my circle into multiple pictures (but more than 2 (though in my mind I see 2 in the picture I'm lifting!)
I follow her too on Instagram! its gonna be so much fun to create a layout inspired by her impressive work! <3
Her work is amazing! https://www.instagram.com/p/BntpSZeHfQx/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link And I used her colors for inspiration:
I am trying my hand at art journaling this month! I was inspired by the color combination of the toasty oranges with black--as well as the autumnal feel--of the middle piece on the bottom row.
I am having trouble saving a pin as anything else but .html and I can't show which one I choose. Any ideas?
