iNSD Blog & Tutorial Inspiration Challenge **WINNER**

What a fun challenge, Jan! I'm loving yours and everybody's pages so far!

 

I took inspiration from the How It Works: Bold Paper Background thread.

 

Thanks so much for hosting this challenge Jenn and thanks to Dalis @Dalis for the great tutorial on Mirror Images.

 

I chose this blog post about using your stash in different ways. I made a new desktop background to help keep my stuff organized.
The pictures I chose are from our trip to Florida in December because our 15 year wedding anniversary is coming up on the 10th.

 

So I followed Judie's Tutorial, it was so easy.
Well, it was easy AFTER I noticed the word "sketch" in her tutorial, I spent the longest time trying to do it with a photo and finally concluded I was somehow too challenged to do it, as I was unsucessful the whole time. Duh, then I used a sketch and it was easy-peasy. Moral of the story, "Read the black parts, not the white parts in a tutorial and it will work better for you."

 

I chose the watercolor tutorial because I know in 2013 it caused me so much trouble. With 6 more years of scrapping under my belt I finally got it to work. Here's mine:

 

Here are my newest sticky notes! I wasn't able to use all of CD's summer bucket list items as planned, but I found plenty of doodles to work with that are way cuter than anything I can draw. Fun challenge! I need to use the blog for inspiration more often!
