It's May! Welcome to the May random challenge. I would like you to create a page comparing (and/or contrasting) two or more things. Basically you will be highlighting similarities or differences between two items/people/ideas. You could go in so many directions for this challenge... before and after, then and now, something you love and something you hate, generational differences, the passage of time...etc. The requirements for this challenge are simple. Please include 2 or more photos and journaling explaining your comparison. My two oldest daughters had the same teacher for sixth grade science. She is really into edible projects. I chose to highlight two different edible projects done by the girls in different years, but for the same teacher. Here's my page: I hope you have fun with the challenge. Can't wait to see your comparison pages! Gentle Reminder: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the May Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
This is my try for this challenge! Translated journaling: On March 29 2019 I adopted these two cuties. The previous saturday I had already visited. Abby and Ollie are friends from their old home and are 3 years old. I thought I knew cats, but now I know that cats are each very different and unique. What I do find difficult, is that they still need to learn rules and how to behave. I thought because they're older, they would already know this. But they walk on tables, the kitchen counter, the mantel place.. OMG. Abby (Abigail) likes to play and asks for this by scratching the chair. She takes her toys with here wherever she wants to play: up the stairs, down the stairs. The is a really high jumper. she is a whine when it's about food. She likes attention, but doesn't go on my lap. Ollie (Oliver) is a large cat that want lots of attention. He needs to take a moment in new situations, but after that he comes to you constantly. Horizontal head bumps are his specialty. He is a plant eater and likes to eat every single plant he sees. He likes to go outside often.
This was so fun! I chose to create a TN spread documenting a comparison between how I felt before an AIP diet and during the first month of the AIP diet. Thank you!
I wanted to compare my kids and their cousins. (It also compares family holiday gatherings, although the holidays are different lol.)
