Hi Everyone.. here I am again with another fun tutorial! Create a realistic traveler's notebook in Photoshop CC for your scrapbooking layouts - Begin with Travelers Notebook Templates and use shadows, shapes and a black to transparent gradient to complete the look. I did these video tutorials after creating several pages with @Soco Soco's Traveler's No 1 templates and her April BYOC's It's the Little Things Collection. Here are a few pages I made with the Soco's Templates and the Little Things Collection: This works for all Traveler's Notebooks that you may have in your stash and in the store. I hope you enjoy the tutorials and learn a few things. While they may be a little long, they are packed with wonderful information to help you make wonderful realistic books that look like hybrid, only done digitally!!! I can't wait to see what you create: For Photoshop: For PSE: I can't wait to see your pages!!!
I just watched the PS one and LOVED every minute of it. You teach so well and your ideas for creating these are SO realistic. Highly recommend this tut everyone!
Thank you so very much Jenn @jenn mccabe I did some pages too with Mirjam (PRD's So Here's the Story templates from the May BYOC & Sabrina's (Sabrina Creations May BYOC Traveler's Notebooks Templates 1) also... and if anyone is interested there is a category in the store just for Traveler's Notebooks. I was excited to see Vivi @Nemla made a page after viewing my tutorial in PSE, so I am hoping she will post her page here too
It is a great tutorial for sure, and it was fun to do. I enjoyed learning new things. I am away from my computer, and the kindle does not like linking, but I will definitely post the page when I get home
YAY>> I absolutely love what you did!! Your notebook looks so real Vivi Thank you for sharing that here!!! Hugs!!!
Amazing tutorial, Christa! I wish I have the patience haha! But will give it a go one of these days <3
Thank you Donna! It looks really hard but it really isn't. It takes longer to explain than actually doing it!!
So glad I could help Sharron!! I know quite a few who have done this tutorial and loved it for the TN but it it great for the shadowing!
