I've only exhibited art work once before, and I was rather nervous when I was asked to contribute to an Easter Garden exhibition for the town centre chapel next week. At the weekend I was ready to gesso this and write it off, but I managed to rescue it on Tuesday and it's now finished and ready to display.
I love the three dimensionality. And did you scrape the word Love out of the white paint, letting the color below show through? Awesome!
thank you ladies. I feel less nervous about handing this over the to exhibition organiser in the morning.
Wow I love your art, I can see that hanging in a conservatory with wicker chairs....Have fun at the exhibition!
So pretty! Best wishes for the exhibition!!! I have always wanted to dabble in paints, I've purchased them, but they sadly are tucked away in my craft drawer cabinet...
I only had time to do one. I think there will be about 30 pieces in total by local amateur artists, all mentored by the same professional artist, who will obviously have something(s) of her own on display too. The leader, offered to take older works too if they fit the theme, but any that did have been gifted, or are too small.
