So on my Facebook feed, I was sucked into a buzzfeed article about pretty normal things or pop culture things that people have never experienced. One gentleman posted he was in his fifties and never had McDonalds. Someone else said thy never saw Star Wars or have ever broken a bone, never eaten a raw apple. Things like that. For me, I have never been to the Upper Penninsula of Michigan which because I live in Michigan is almost sacrilegious here. Like it’s a big deal to go to the UP. My customers are always in shock when I tell them I have never been. I have also never seen a single episode of Gilmore Girls or Grey’s Anatomy. So is there anything you have never done but everyone else seems to have done? If I think of any more for me I will post.
Same I've also never seen The Notebook or anything Harry Potter (or read the books) I'm thinking because I'm sure there's more
I have never watched the movie Titanic. That seems to be forbidden. I just have no interest. Also have never broken a bone. I have never read the HP books either - and never watched a full HP movie. I've seen parts when my kids had it on but it didn't hold my interest.
I have never smoked, not even once. Other than that, I can't really think of anything. There are lots of TV shows and movies I have never seen and I perfectly fine with that.
I've never been in an English speaking country. I've never eaten sushi. I've never drunk scotch whisky.
You MUST get to the UP - especially since you live in Michigan!! Never have I ever read or seen anything Harry Potter. *Gasp*
Age 72...Never... Had a ticket (driving since age 16) Watched or read Harry Potter Been to Burning Man or ComiCon (sp?) Out of North America Watched Gray’s Anatomy (& I live near Seattle) Been to a rock concerts .......and so much more, I’m sure!
Never have I ever... Broken a Bone Had surgery (put to sleep) Watched Game of Thrones Watched/read Harry Potter Had acrylic (fake) nails
Gosh... I'm reading lots of these and thinking... I can't think of anything but I'm with @AJK about the coffee! I've tasted it, but I hate the flavor, so I've never had a cup of coffee. On the TV front, I've never watch an episode of "This is Us" which seems to be one that EVERYONE I know how watched. Lol. I used to be able to say I'd never read or seen Harry Potter, but about 5 years ago I caved and read the books. They were okay, but I did not immediately fall into the cult love. I did enjoy the movies and have watched those several times over with my boys. There are lots of places outside of the US I've never been, but would love to. OH! I know... I've never owned a Mac! Does that count?
I have never . . . -seen Grey's Anatomy, Game of Thrones, and most every other t.v. show and movie that has come out in the last couple of decades (I mostly get my TV/movie entertainment from YouTube and Netflix) -smoked -drunk a cup of coffee (tasted it once or twice, love the smell, can't stand the taste) -broken a bone -had a tattoo, but I'm not opposed and might yet someday -never eaten sushi (the idea disgusts me) -never eaten food that still looks like the animal it was (creeps me out) -never gotten completely drunk, only tipsy -never been to Asia, Africa, nor South America (and Tiajuana, Paris, and Stockholm are the only non-U.S. cities I've seen) -never seen the center of the U.S., nor Hawaii (I've only lived in southern California and Virginia) -had a manicure nor pedicure -gone to summer camp or had a vacation just because it was summer -gone on a diet -eaten Taco Bell (growing up in San Diego, I had access to much better Mexican food!) -drunk soda since 2000 (the year we decided to try to get pregnant; that's why I gave it up, and was never interested in it again. I do have a glass of sparkling cider on NYE though.) I'm sure there are more, but I have to get going! I am saddened when I hear people haven't read Harry Potter. It was a huge part of our life when my kids were younger, and I didn't just like it because they did. It's a fantastic read for adults too; besides the many times with my kids, I read through the series couple of times alone. @Angela Toucan I hear you! We haven't had cable TV since 2005 and I wouldn't even bother having a TV if it were up to me. @jenn mccabe Titanic is the only movie I've seen multiple times in the theater. I was actually interested in the real thing since middle school in the 80's when I read a book about it. And the movie spoke to my romantic side. I returned to the theater 6 times to see it! I am slightly embarrassed by this now, but just mostly amused at my younger self. @SeattleSheri That is awesome! I don't think I know anyone who has never had a cavity (among people I know well enough to have talked about teeth of course! LOL). Do you have any tips or is it lucky genetics? @Karen I'm shocked you've never owned a Mac. Just kidding! And I'm glad you at least gave Harry Potter a chance.
