Could you please pray for my nephew? Two nights ago he was struck by a car while in a crosswalk (he's been visiting Denver from California). He suffered a broken nose and many facial, hand & knee lacerations (many of them they couldn't stitch up due to the damage) and had to be kept in the hospital under observation for elevated heart stress levels. He's out of the hospital now and thankfully has a college friend who lives there and is taking care of him for the time being. We don't much else at this point in time, but he is very distraught about his injuries and everything else that has and will be effected by this. This is also on top of other situations he's been dealing with, so prayers for healing and God's guidance as he deals with the legal mess ahead would be so much appreciated! Thank you. UPDATE: He was allowed to fly home to California yesterday (Sunday), so now the long healing process begin. I guess he was hit from behind, so he didn't see it coming. The swelling has gone down in his face enough that he can see out of the eye that was shut. Now the fun of lining up specialists, getting to therapy, and the long legal process that comes from something like this begins. But the most important part is that he is safe and at home.
Jan, I am so sorry to hear about the accident but so grateful that he is ok and out of the hospital. Not everyone is as lucky as he was. Prayers sent to help guide him.

And update, but first thank you so much for your prayers. They mean more than you can imagine to us all. He was allowed to fly home to California yesterday, so now the long healing process begin. I do love you all! You are so sweet! But since he is home now I'll have to decline your offer. Thank you so very much for offering!
Ogoodness, how scary! I'm glad that he is home and healing. Hoping the recovery road is a smooth one!
