Hello Beautiful people! Since the Mid-Month Playdate went over so well last month, I thought I would try to make it a regular thing. This month I played around with some artsy "love" ideas and here are a few goodies I made while doing that. You are welcome to use them all, just the ones you like, or none whatsoever. Totally up to you. These are all .png this month and you can download them HERE: https://app.box.com/s/o8pdv3nvg77w3vt8uo0tu7mcmtc26f11 Here is mine: I made this for my parents who are celebrating 40 years together - loads of heartache and grief, and a pretty rough time - but they stick together through it all. I took out the journaling because it is pretty personal, but wanted to share anyway. The photo was chosen because my Dad has a NICE mustache - not all that different from this fellow Now it is your turn! I would love to see what you do! Have fun!
Erin, thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to scrap this symbol of love from my oldest granddaughter, Ava. She had "enjoy the little things" tattooed on her inner arm the day after she turned 18. The really cool thing is - it's in my handwriting. You can read all the details in the gallery, but basically, she said she wanted something on HER body that would remind her of me for the rest of her life. I have been waiting to scrap this and this seemed like the perfect time.
Anyone who knows me understands that I love my vintage photos, and I usually try to enlarge them as much as I can get away with so that family gets a good view of what their ancestors looked like. And that is what I did here. And then I went looking for things to add to my page. I saw Paula's "devoted" word art from the M3 February 2019 kit, placed it onto the page & it pretty much centered itself across the couple's eyes. At first I was going to down-size it, but then I realized that I liked it just the way it was, it placed itself there for a reason. That's my story & I'm sticking to it.
thank you again Erin, I'm getting the hang of making my usual mixed media happy mess out of digital supplies.
I am aware that I am way too late for this, but I sure had fun! I love your orange paper, thank you and will use it on something else. (orange and royal blue don't work so well-lol) Thanks for the challenge!
