So happy for you, friend! All it takes is that first step... a commitment... a promise to yourself! This year I’ve changed my mindset. I’m not obsessed about the scale. I’m taking cues from my clothes, and how I feel when I work out & run. I’m getting stronger! I eat healthy, but allow myself grace and balance. You CAN do this! I believing you & you have so much amazing support here! Sounds like you’ve made a good healthy choice on how to go about this... hugs girl!

One week under my belt - down 4 pounds. I've given up soda (that's 39 carbs I won't have each day!) - I do feel hungry quite often so I have to find something to fulfill that feeling - but so far so good!! Thank you for the encouragement friends!
That is an awesome start @JillW !!! The first week is always the worst with the hunger. I promise it will start to get a little easier this week as you adjust. I swear my stomach shrinks after the first two weeks of eating smaller portions and then I can feel full faster after that which always helps! Keep up the great work!
Two week weight check up and measurements today: Down 7 pounds Lost 11 inches I'm excited to keep going!! Sometimes I worry I won't be able to continue down this road because I get hungry for things I used to eat - but I know I'll get used to eating healthy more and more each day.
