Hi everyone! I have decided to implement QR codes in my PL2019. Now I am looking for cards, elements, templates, etc. to add these codes into my layout in a fun way. I have searched the store and couldn't found much. Basically just the element templates from Scrapping with Liz. Does anyone have tips? I'd actually prefer cards or card templates. Or perhaps there are designers out there willing to jump on this request?
These are in the shop. The first ones you can add to a clean/minimal JC: The second is an example of how a clean/minimal JC can become a QR JC for you:
I'm tagging @Scrapping with Liz and @Karen too - they are two that use QR codes often on their pages. I'm sure they will have some good ideas. Here are a few page examples: Liz's Karen's I think @justjaimee Just Jaimee's Ready to Go Pocket Templates have lots of smaller square pockets that fit QR codes nicely too. Like this one:
As you can see above I love to add QR codes to my pages. I either use Liz's templates or I just add a square somewhere slightly bigger that my QR code just to set it off. I often will add an arrow pointing to it too, just to draw attention to it.
A lot of the Project Mouse collection has QR cards in the cards packs. Let me go find some for you. ETA: This is just a few of the card sets with specific cards for QR codes, but many of the sets contain cards that can be used for that reason (there were too many to post here!). "Dream Come True" or "My Favorite Moment: cards: "Watch This" card This set has lots of different options:
I soooo need to do this as well! I have taken more videos this year than ever before. I need to grab these products and hunt up the how-to thread. Thanks for the info ♡
Here's a how-to thread I did awhile back. @Danyale https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/june-20-technique-qr-code.48857/
Thanks girls! I already saw those QR element templates from SwL. They're on my wishlist to buy soon. And I have all three of those Project Mouse card packs, but hadn't realized those were in there! Thanks! I like seeing example layouts too! Makes it so much easier to think of ways to add those codes to my pages. I had seen some, but now I will just follow @Karen and @Scrapping with Liz around!
I just came across this cute idea for adding QR codes - not a pocket page but you could certainly try this on a pocket page! by @QuiltyMom
I kept thinking ... I gotta do something with those codes that don't stick out like a sore thumb! Then I saw those tags in Lynn's kit. I extracted the black part and put it on the tag. I think I've found a new way to use those silly codes!
I thought of this thread when I saw the SOSN goodies for sale today.... Liz's templates are 50% off today for anyone who doesn't already have them for QR codes.
