Who else is silly like me and keeping an eye of what number their posts in the forum are up to... with this post I only have 29 to go and I reach my first ONE THOUSAND. Just you wait until next year when I plan to be here more often and take part in more challenges than what I am able to do this year.... then you will see my numbers increase lots ( I hope ).
I mostly only think to look when we have game challenges related to our number, or when people bring it up like you just did. As I type this, I don't know where I am for post count, but I'll look after I click Post. Glad you can hang out here more next year!

I like to celebrate the milestones in my life, including my post count I have a few to go until my next big milestone though!
@lynnirene me too! But I've been trying to do a little more participating in the Chatty Pad, a least a few days/week. And really, reading and posting helps you get to know everyone better!
I totally get this - I do the same thing too! I'll write a response and then go and delete it because it sounded better in my head.
Sometimes I type my replies way too quickly and forget to check for mistakes... then had to do back and edit what I have typed. That is my problem in chat rooms.... typing fast and making tons of mistakes !
The activity that happens here at The Lily Pad is one of the many things I like about this forum. On other forums you can go back a few times a day and there are no new posts ( messages ) but here.... there is always something happening.
I don't necessarily go out of my way to notice my post count but after Courtney celebrated reaching 10,000 I realized I was close to 5,000. I've now passed 5,000 and I don't know when it happened lol but it was recently. I love chatting on here!
Read and reply in your head? Raising my hand for that. The time to actually sit down and read and write replies depends so much on what else is happening in my life. Some days it's all I can do to take a quick look at announcements and maybe check the challenge threads. Now that I can see my post count, maybe I'll set a goal to reach 1500.
