How do I change where I arrive when I click on a thread? It seems to default to the last message and I would prefer to go to the first message. How can I change the setting? Thanks.
I thought what you are looking to do may be in our Profile settings but I could not find anywhere to alter how we view threads. @lmccandless or @mrs2a50 can you help with this please.
Hmmmm.... I don't know if this is even an option you can change. Laura or Julie will be able to let you know for sure though.
I'm not sure if there is a way to change the settings, but there is a way around it. If you click on the timestamp of the thread...highlighted here: instead of the thread title, it will take you to the first post in the thread Hope that helps
Funny, the way threads open to where I was last reading the thread is one of my most favorite things about how this forum works (as opposed to many other forums I've used).
That is nice, but I often want to open to the beginning, and with all of the large photos posted in the threads, navgating back to the top is little slow. But the work around will be great - thanks so much!!
Deborrah... do you know about the AWESOME little "jump to top" button on most pages here... look for the little blue button with an ^ in it. It's in the lower right corner and pops you back up to the top of a page so you don't have to scroll all the way up.
@Karen I LOVE that button Karen! lol! When I am on other forums I automatically go to that spot on the screen to click it and it's not there!!!
I didn't know either!! until you finish your post it's greyed or should I say blued out. Never noticed it! eta: ok it's still faint but there!
