Hello everyone, This month we’re going to be making a big bold statement on our pages. It’s all about highlighting a SINGLE NUMBER or a SINGLE LETTER and making it stand out as one of the main design features of your page. Consider your scale and proportion though because whilst this is the key element of your page you don’t want to detract from your subject matter and photo. So have fun and play around with digital styles, fonts, alphas and placement of all your other elements to help find the right balance. The only rule is GO BIG OR GO HOME! Here is my page using the Number 7. TALK TO ME ALPHA DOZEN | Allison Pennington HARK ANOTHER VERY SMALL ALPHA | Allison Pennington THE FRAMES (WITH ROOM) | Allison Pennington IT’S A BREEZE ELEMENTS | Allison Pennington BIGGER & BOLDER PAPER PACK | Allison Pennington (No longer avail). As an alternative try SUPER DUPER BIG & BOLD PAPERS | Allison Pennington POP MINI | Allison Pennington (No longer avail) HELLO DAYDREAM TABS | Allison Pennington (No longer avail) For extra inspiration I have put together a PINTEREST BOARD. It’s filled with lots of great pages and projects that highlight a SINGLE LETTER or NUMBER in the design. Remember our monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the SEPTEMBER Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I can't wait to see BOLD BIG STATEMENT LETTER OR NUMBER pages in the gallery!
Hmm @Justagirl - so just the numbers 0-9? I am assuming a two digit number like "12" does not work? I like your birthday idea but we are all older than 10...
Yep, a single number constitutes 4, 14, 44, 2014. So long as you’re not adding the number 7 then the number 77 to one project because that is two numbers. I’m pretty sure I pinned some double digit numbered pages in the Inspiration Pinterest board too
