    Hi Lilypad Letter friends!

    If you want in on the August Lilypad Letter Swap, post here in this thread and let me know which theme you prefer. If you are open to doing any of the themes, please rank your choices in order of preference.

    AUGUST THEME CHOICES:
    Friendship/Internet Friends/Girlfriends Day (Aug 1st)
    Into the Garden
    Summer Vacation/Staycation

    NEW: This month we'll try something new: signing up for 2 letters for the month (if you are so inclined). You would not repeat themes. Everyone would get assigned a partner first and then if there are enough signups to allow more swaps I’ll try to pair people up for a different theme for letter #2.

    When you sign up, please state:

    1.) your theme choice (or choices if willing to do more than one) in ranked order
    2.) what country you live in
    3.) and whether you have any limitations on where you are willing to ship/mail.
    4.) how many letters do you want to send this month (max 2)

    I'll keep the sign ups open until July 30th. Partners will be announced July 31st. You will have until the end of August to get your Lilypad Letter out to your partner.

    I live in the US.
    I can ship to US or UK.
    I can do two letters...

    For a good laugh, I got this thread in my email, clicked view thread and thought it took me to the forum and it didn't so I was actually emailing my reply... ummm duh? I've had some duh moments this week.

    That is funny! (BTW - I think I've actually done that too!)

    And I am kinda excited to see many of us are signing up for two letters for August. :yesss

    Maybe a hobby store? They are sold here in the USA for collecting trading cards, such as baseball cards, Pokemon cards, etc.

    I'd love to do 2 letters but I have already committed to a swap with a friend who is no scrapper - digi or otherwise - and I want to make a pocket letter on equal footing without digi supplies, that's going to take me a looong time, I am sure.
    So if we do more than one again in September or October I'm in.

    But for August I will do only one...

    Bev is right - a hobby store or arts and crafts store is a great place to start. Did you have any luck? Or a big box store that has an arts and crafts section?

    #jenn #bev Hmmm we are not big into card collecting so I will go and visit a place I can think of just incase the crafting shop does that kind of stuff.
