Have you been wondering what Wednesdays game is going to be? Well, it's pretty simple! I hid a hotdog on the page below in a hidden layer. It's up to you to find it! If you look close, you'll find ketchup, but no mustard. That's because it's your job to add the mustard to the hotdog! Isn't this one cute? It's the one sitting on the page somewhere! How to win: Get the lid of the mustard closest to the left side of the hot dog. There is a participation prize, and a prize for being the closest! I'll reveal them at the chat. But don't worry, you don't have to be present to win. It'll just be more fun if you are! How to play: 1. Download the mustard bottle (see below). Please do not change the size of the bottle! 2. Place it on a 600x600 blank canvas - anywhere you want! 3. Put your username on the canvas. 4. Save at 600x600 for the gallery. Please keep a white or blank background. 5. Use the share BB code from the gallery to post your guess in this thread. ENTER no later than Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 5:30pm PDT/8:30pm EDT. That gives me 30 minutes to figure out who is closest before our chat! 6) Come to the CHAT to learn who won! Wednesday July 18 at 9pm EDT/6pm PDT For help with time zones see HERE Here's your mustard: (It should auto download when you click on it. If not, try here) And here's the many layers that conceal a hot dog!
Well, hot diggity dog! Great Summer game idea! Have fun everyone! Love your summer scene and those polka palms!
Ok, please explain, as I am slow today (and allergic to mustard to boot) It clearly says create 12 x 12, put the bottle on it. Don't resize the bottle. then put your name on the page, and then resize the whole canvas to 600 x 600. The bottle then will become tiny. Right? But all the bottles so far are of the original dimension on 600 x 600. Or am I wrong? So, what's the rule again?
I have to say I added mine (the original size) to 600x600 canvas as on 12x12 it was too tiny to see.. I hope that it's ok..
Fun! I won't be able to attend the chat due to going on a date night concert!!! But here's my entry! Mmmm Mustard!!!
The problem is that the downloaded mustard bottle is at 72 ppi and we're all used to making our canvas 12x12 at 300 ppi, which makes for a tiny mustard bottle. You'd get a much better sized mustard bottle if your 12x12 canvas starts at 72 ppi to match... So how do you want us to approach this @bestcee to get the end result you're looking for?
It looks like the hotdog and ketchup are from Fast Food by Kristin Aagard...not sure on the mustard though.
