I should not be even LOOKING in this thread... Lol! I love fonts! I think the ones I use the most are the Mary Kate: And the Liana:
I should not be looking in here, just sayin'. I love handwritten fonts, especially those by KG and DJB and our own Heather Joyce. Tangie's big 65 font bundle (on SOSN this past Weds) is all handwritten fonts. I also like quirky ones like Courtney Dorkling and Socially Awkward. I really like Dad's Hand from Amber LaBau's His & Hers font set. It really looks like my dad's writing.
Another reason I love digi - i can 'handwrite' so much nicer and any way i feel like but oh the 'which font?' indecision paralysis!
LOL to what everyone is saying.. I am crazed with fonts and need fontaholics anonymous.. with that said, I go through spurts... lately I have been using Susie's Hand which is similar to CK Ali's Hand ... Tons of fonts yet I use a lot of the same ones over and over. I love a lot (and have a lot) of Heather Joyce's fonts... they make me happy too!!
I keep going back to Yanks Hand for my journaling. I think it is because it is quite close to my actual handwriting used to be only readable all the time!
I am loving Northwell Regular lately as well as oldnewspaper font. I have waaaaaaay too many fonts but I just love them all too much. How do you all organize them? Because it is a pain going through all my fonts looking for a script or a typewriter font or whatever every single time I need one.
[QUOTE="How do you all organize them? Because it is a pain going through all my fonts looking for a script or a typewriter font or whatever every single time I need one.[/QUOTE] VERY good question - I would like to know this too!
Font-a-holics unite! I have over 1,000 on my cpu; about half that on the laptop. I do a sweep of Dafont.com every month to see new ones. They do list the ones that are CU friendly if you select that. CAN'T choose a favorite- depends upon my mood...
Bad post for me too...I have 1023 active fonts and then again I have about 10 more I got this past week or so. I am getting more and more picky and I do have to think long and hard to buy one but I do about 3 times a year. Aura Blue is my favorite handwriting for titles. I don't care for a lot of handwriting fonts as my dh has a hard enough time reading journaling as it is. So...my journaling is often just plain Arial or Helvetica. If I know it will be easily read with a good contrast on the page, I may use one that I can't find now but was called English handwriting or something close. It was a very clear script. In Mac Font Book, I sort by kind...I do this every couple of months and give it about 30 min to just pull some new ones into a category also. Believe me...only about 1/3 of my fonts are categorized! All those named collections are my ideas of things I'd look for.
I use NexusFont to organize. You can organize in to groups and sets, and it has a customizable preview.
I also use NexusFont. I like being able to preview what my words would look like. The only issue I have is it doesn't seem to keep the tags. But I don't know of one that does, is free, and works on Windows. Also, I love that I don't techinically have the fonts installed. Opening NexusFont is enough for my computer to think that they are installed. And it doesn't slow my computer down with the excess fonts I have. (1516 if you are counting! plus the 361 actually installed.)
My favorite changes over time... I've been using this one a lot lately, I'd say its my current favorite.
