Man this was quite the artsy month with a few of these challenges. I think this turned out pretty cool... kind of a neat way to add a bit more "crazy" to the pic!
This was hard! I had to get my head out of anything pre-conceived, LOL. Thanks for the great challenge!
I took inspiration from the horizontal lines in your glitch photo examples. I put horizontal doodles and washi tape lines behind my photo
One of the filters in snapchat mimic'd this style- I did a couple of the rectangles & channels to make it even more glitchy! THanks for the fun challenge!
I used both techniques on the photo and just added the subtle pop of colour. Thanks for something new!!
Actually, I tried every filter in Artisan and it wouldn't give me the look I wanted to I went to the app that another member suggested.
This was a struggle for me....I could not make the glitches go on the face. I did learn some new techniques that are cool.
I started off in PSE but needed to switch to PSCC to get the blending options. (hint hint Maureen...use PSCC more!!) I really played around with the glitching since I didn't want the faces clear any how. And let me tell you playing it was even to get this photo taken! all those young women? herding cats! I'm the old one with the yellow hair in the center & in two other spots - thank you Glitch!
Here is my second try. I followed a tutorial I found online, "How To Make A Glitch Gif" by Marina Khatin. I think it looks much better now. (it was too big for the Gallery, so I used an external image host).
This thread looks awesome - I have been loving these in the gallery and been dying to play with this effect all month but it hasn't been the best of months here scrapwise, so i started with this pic yesterday that i purposely took the day before and lost a couple hours at a bunch of the sites you all linked to (thanks so much!) and can't even remember the various filters and stuff i used but there's a duotone with some other stuff on the base image and then the cut rectangles and change the RBG layer blend mode bit like in your screen shots Ashley - thanks for the inspo!
