This year was full of ups and downs, but mostly ups! Our year was filled with new life. A lot of our close friends welcomed new babies and we also gained two new nieces. Eric’s sister Jill gave birth the day before my birthday and gave me the best gift of the year of our niece, Alexandra Bella Rose; who joined her big brother Max. And than in Oct. my sister Jodi gave birth to her second girl, Mackenzie Ann. Truly little blessings sent
from heaven above. Working for the airlines, I tried to put my travel benifits to good use this year! I made many trips to the Washington DC area to visit my close friends and their families. Eric and I had a romantic get away weekend to Chicago. We even traveled to St. Louis for a road trip with Eric’s mom and step-father. (we flew back!). And who can forget the birthday trip from hell.. where we never made it to Florida and got stuck in the Atlanta Airport for 3 days straight! YIKES! still have nightmares on that one! Of course we made many day trips too to Rochester Mn, and Madison too for mini shopping sprees!
Family life was pretty stable this year. The kids are growing up. Miss Bianca turned 12! And is in her pre-teen years! Kai 9..and doing very well dispite all his special needs! So proud of him! Asia turned 7 and was recently tested and has numerous special needs and placed in special ed where we hope she will succeed and grow. Eric and I are still madly in love and he is the best man I could ask for! He is looking for a new job as he hates his. My health is failing. I cut hours at work, applied for disability and a service dog. I was accepted to the service dog program and started rasing money.
