@Electra Oh I wish!! I found this picture online, but I have had this many books on my shelf at one time. We lost a lot of our books when our basement flooded in Michigan - it about killed me.

@Electra It WAS!! Damned Michigan basements!! My oldest DD and I were just lamenting about it. She lost all of her Christmas ornaments in a flooded basement. I lost lots of pictures too. SO sad.

@Soco Yes it was, Soco. Our basement was finished into a family room and we never expected it to flood. My daughter had a flood in her basement too (also in Michigan) and she lost all of her treasured Christmas ornaments, many of which I had passed down to her. It's heart-breaking.
