Journaling: I can't believe how fast you've grown. My tiny first born baby is fast approaching 16 years of age. It doesn't seem that long ago that we were both learning to breastfeed together, bewildered by nappies and wondering what sleep was. You would insist on getting out of bed each day at 4am and no amount of trying to feed you back to sleep would work. Now days you like to sleep in when you can and you have a steady girlfriend. You've been taller than me for ages, tho to begin with I denied it and it was a bit of a family joke but you are way too tall now for me to even pretend. Now it seems the next milestone is shaving. There is a bit of blonde fluff on your upper lip and you are eager to mow it off. Can you wait til your 16th birthday at least!
